Our Story

Hello, I'm Alison, aged 58, happily married to John, and blessed with two grown children. My career has taken me from the council's rent department to owning my own business, and now I've been working in Education for the past 15 years as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant at a valley primary school. My job is fulfilling, offering new and exciting challenges every day. I cherish every moment of it. During the lockdown, my husband and I purchased a caravan at Trecco Bay. We stumbled upon a lovely caravan for sale and decided it would be our happy place. It has indeed become a peaceful retreat on the park where we can relax. The addition of a new grandson has brought us countless joyous memories. I frequently enjoy the pool and the nearby beaches. Our family and friends also visit and adore the park and its amenities. I rent out my caravan for a few weeks each year, but in the past year, I've encountered difficulties finding suitable sites for this purpose. One evening, over a glass of wine, the idea of Hire My Holiday Home was born. This vision has now blossomed into our exciting new business venture.
